The arson of the Love Shack on New Year’s Eve, and the resultant deaths, have massive implications for the survivors as they all try to come to terms with it in different ways. They hideout in a safe house but did not account for the reappearance of Erag, the eastern European butcher, and his vile atrocities. After yet more hospital treatment and recuperation, months later everyone is able to go their separate ways. Zita and Liam choose to go on the journey that they never expected to make to track down the perpetrators and wreak their revenge.
